PREVENTIVE CARE

During your first visit, we will perform an initial examination, which consists of a medical history, thorough clinical examination, and X-Rays. Our dental center is fully equipped, so we can set up a treatment plan, including a financial plan, within one appointment. After that, we can agree on further dates of treatment, in which we do our best to meet your needs.

After the end of planned treatment, we switch to a preventive regime – consisting of a yearly check-up, and dental hygiene twice a year.

Dental caries are the most common problem we deal with. Caries are treated under local anesthesia to make the procedure itself as pleasant as possible. A dental dam is necessary to ensure a dry operating field when making the composite filling; it also protects the patient from the flow of water in the mouth during preparation.

DENTAL HYGIENE

Dental hygiene (professional tooth cleaning) consists of an initial examination, followed by removal of tartar and pigmentation, fluoridation, and finally instruction in cleaning teeth. We also offer a wide selection of dental products.

We can often come across the opinion that completing professional dental hygiene is only a modern trend. It is important to realize that dental hygiene is a healing process that eliminates the causes of gingivitis and periodontitis. Properly managed dental hygiene can often allow the preservation of an otherwise lost tooth.

We perform tooth whitening in cooperation with a dental hygienist. Consisting of an initial hygiene procedure with removal of pigmentation – creating whitening trays – application of whitening gel at home – maintenance routine.

AESTHETIC DENTISTRY

The most common problems tackled by aesthetic dentistry are old fillings, aesthetically unpleasing prosthetics, discolored dead teeth, and gaps between teeth. Using modern procedures and technologies, we can completely change the appearance of your teeth.

In the treatment of dental caries, we use exclusively composite materials (white fillings), which have a number of advantages over amalgam fillings. Old fillings which are disformed or discolored can be replaced.

We can provide the overall reconstruction of teeth, in which we use partial operations – aesthetic fillings, ceramic facets, inlays, onlays, and dental crowns. We replace missing teeth with an implant. Cooperation with orthodontists is sometimes required to achieve the best result.

DENTAL SURGERY

We perform common procedures such as simple tooth extraction, surgical tooth extraction, and root tip resection. We offer the option of treatment under analgosedation, with the assistance of an anaesthesiologist.

Simple tooth extraction is a gentle, uncomplicated process. We extract teeth that can no longer be saved, such as broken teeth.

In the case of impacted teeth (most commonly wisdom teeth), which are covered with mucous membranes and sometimes even bone, we opt for surgical tooth extraction. The whole procedure takes place painlessly under anesthesia.

Another procedure we offer is root tip resection, which is a surgical procedure in which the doctor folds back the gums, removes the tip of the tooth's root, and cleans the inflammatory deposit in the bone.

DENTAL IMPLANTOLOGY

Dental implants serve as a full-fledged replacement for a missing tooth and have a number of advantages over other replacement methods, such as bridges. For example, it is not necessary to grind adjacent teeth or otherwise adjust them. It is possible to replace several teeth at once. We also offer treatment of toothless jaws.

The dental implant is made of titanium and has bioinert properties, so the body does not treat it as a foreign material. The implant is inserted into the bone at the site of the lost tooth, thus replacing the root of the tooth. It is used to anchor the secondary part, on which a crown or bridge is made in the case of two or more implants.

We use the Straumann implant system.
